Erica and Jared [ENJ] met on Myspace in 2005 when they found out they would be attending the same college in NYC. A match made in musical heaven, these L.A. natives learned that they shared the same interests in music and fashion. After Jared presented his talent for producing beats he had been constructing early on in his musical career, Erica was interested in vocalizing over them. After a year of school, their paths took them in separate directions in the country. They continued to exchange ideas and sounds over the email waves for several years. Jared relocated back to L.A. after completing school to fully pursue music with his partner in crime. With years of material and beats, the ¡ENJ! sound started to take shape. With funky, soulful melodies, and synth/bass filled instrumentals, ENJ are ready to take the music game to another planet.

Michelle Raitzin, who recently appeared on NBC’s hit show THE VOICE and landed a spot on Blake Shelton’s team, started her vocal career at the age of 10 in her native Long Island, New York. She has been following in the footsteps of her great uncle Misha Raitzin, who was a principal tenor at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC. From a young age she was noticed by established personnel in the music industry for her exceptional voice, showing uncanny range, control, and vocal maturity. Through her first seven years as an artist she was hired to sing on many professional recordings including: 9 Kids Bop CDs, 2 Barbie Hits CDs, a Pottery Barn Christmas CD, and a theme song for an animated film, titled “The Littlest Light”, just to mention a few.
Although she had a busy schedule singing professionally Michelle also was involved in musicals, operas, and singing groups in school. She sang for numerous fundraisers, charity events and made time to participate in many singing competitions around the country. Most notably, Michelle brought home a prize of $10,000 to her high school by winning first place in NYC Radio Station WOR’s “Shining Star” competition in 2010.
At the age of 17, Michelle released her self titled debut album where she co-wrote lyrics and music to seven of the eleven tracks. After collaborating with Michelle on one of her songs, Andre Andersen (of Danish rock band Royal Hunt) asked her to appear as a guest lead singer on his band’s upcoming studio album. Since then she has appeared on three consecutive Royal Hunt albums.
Throughout her singing career Michelle has performed live in front of a variety of audiences. Touring with Royal Hunt around the world, she performed at major music festivals in Sweden (35,000 people), Japan (15,000 people), and the United States (2,000 people).
Michelle is proud to be a student at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and is currently writing and recording new material while collaborating with numerous successful songwriters (double Grammy nominee/Tonic – Dan Lavery, guitarist of Salina Gomez and the Scene – Ethan Roberts, among others).
