Having grown up living and traveling around the world, Ellysa’s songwriting has a depth and maturity that is unusual in a 17 year old. Her songs are full of insightful lyrics and memorable melodies that have earned her comparisons to Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, and Taylor Swift, just to name a few. She began playing the piano at the age of 4, cello at 10 and composed and wrote her first songs at 12. Ellysa bought her first guitar at 15 and taught herself to play. That is when she really became a songwriter. To date, she has written over 30 songs and the number keeps growing. A couple of months ago she added a ukulele to the mix and, after teaching herself to play it, has already written several songs with it! She just recorded her first EP, “Stop Waiting” with all original music, due to be released soon.
Bryan Michael Bio
Bryan Michael is a singer-songwriter out of San Diego, Califonia. He has always had a love for music, writing and playing in bands all over San Diego and LA counties throughout his life. He has now set his sights on a solo career of peforming and songwriting, one day, all over the world! Bryan Michael’s music is the perfect example of great catchy songs, with attention-grabbing guitar hooks, to choruses you seem to always catch yourself singing along to. He can and does write to all different genres from country, to rock, to pop, but with an emphasis on Pop-Rock. Bryan Michael is the new up and coming artist, so make check him out and spread the word, because Bryan Michael is not worth passing up!
Sometimes, the best beginning in making leaps and bounds forward is through first taking a step back. This summarizes the journey of this young singer/songwriter. After gaining a good deal of notoriety from starring as Young Nala in the Los Angeles production of The Lion King, sailing into the Top 10 on Season 5 of American Idol, and acting out her recurring roles in CW’s Vampire Diaries, BET’s The Game, and Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101, Lisa has gone from a ballad-blasting vocalist to an artist in the truest sense. Instead of anchoring her career in her successful past as a child, she has used the experiences and channeled her influences, including Elton John, Fiona Apple and Stevie Wonder, to cultivate her own sound, which is best described as a blend of honest, clever and sometimes even cynical lyrics with lush, ear-pleasing melodies, combining to form an array of some of the most colorful 21st century tunes.
Music lovers are just beginning to bear witness to a woman whose musical journey has gone from singing Whitney Houston on Star Search and Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers on American Idol, to metaphorically comparing an emotionally involved girl to a ball of yarn that is being knocked around, becoming unraveled, only to be wrapped up once again by a controlling love-interest. Whether you enjoy analyzing and interpreting phrases within the context of a song, or prefer becoming engulfed in a sea of melodic bliss, Lisa Tucker’s music is to behold.
