LEXA RAQUEL

Tucson-based pop songstress Lexa Raquel shot up the Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart with her infectious single "One of a Kind", reaching the #9 position. The music video is currently taking over media systems nationwide, playing at stores like Footlocker and Forever 21. Not just your average pop vocalist, Raquel is a classically trained singer and auditioned for the Arizona Opera Company at age three, singing her first solo at age 5. She began playing guitar, trumpet, and piano in the fifth grade, and started writing her own music shortly thereafter. Currently a sophomore on a full music scholarship at the University of Arizona, the 19-year-old singer songwriter is currently working on her debut album, to be released on Desert Sol Records.
